
DV Hydraulics designed and built a redundant hydraulic power unit for a critical blast furnace application, intended for the drive and control of a complex installation within a continuous production process.
The hydraulic unit was fully custom-developed as a new build project, with a strong focus on maximum reliability, availability and seamless integration into the existing infrastructure.
Thanks to the modular system design, the redundant pump configuration and the use of high-quality components, a robust and maintenance-friendly solution was realized, suitable for heavy-duty conditions in the non-ferrous industry.

Redundant pump configuration with automatic takeover in case of failure of the main unit
Electric drive with motors of 2 x 37 kW, suitable for continuous operation.
Working pressure up to approx. 180–200 bar, adapted to process requirements.
Hydraulic accumulator system for pressure stabilization and peak demand compensation.
Proportional pressure and flow control via 4–20 mA control signal.
Fine filtration of 5 µ and 10 µ for optimal oil cleanliness.
Cooling system for temperature control under intensive load.
Piping executed using Parker EO2-form system for leak-free and low-maintenance connections.
Suitable for use with fire-resistant hydraulic fluid (Houghton Cosmolubric HF130)
Designed for continuous operation in heavy industrial process environmentsThe installation was fully assembled and tested in our workshop, including functional testing, verification of all control loops and a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
